CLARIN-CH is the Swiss national node of CLARIN, a pan-European research infrastructure aiming to render accessible all digital language resources and tools from all over Europe through a single sign-on online environment.
Our mission
The mission of CLARIN-CH is to join the European CLARIN community as a full member, and to build an active and impactful sustainable national network that is dedicated to Open Science and FAIR principles.
What are the objectives of CLARIN-CH?
- Fostering the sharing of resources and expertise among the members of the CLARIN-CH community.
- Bringing together the Swiss community working on language-related issues.
- Encouraging the initiation of national and international collaborations.
- Obtaining Switzerland's CLARIN membership and giving Swiss researchers access to the entire CLARIN infrastructure.

Who is behind CLARIN-CH?
CLARIN-CH is constituted by the CLARIN-CH national consortium, including all member institutions and their representatives, the Executive Board responsible for the operational management of CLARIN-CH, and the CLARIN-CH Coordination Office serving as support to the national coordinator.
