We will explore key questions\, including: \n\nWhat is “text and data mining”\, and how do regulations differ between Switzerland and EU?\nDoes copyright protection extend to training AI or to AI-generated results?\nWhat should researchers keep in mind regarding copyright law when using social media as research data?\nCan data available on social media be considered open research data?\nHow are trade secrets handled in this context?\n\nThese topics\, along with others brought by the participants\, will be discussed during the session. \nSuzanna Marazza is a jurist and has been a collaborator at the CCdigitallaw of the Università della Svizzera italiana since 2019.
