-**Abstract**: In this talk, participants learn about the technical aspects of how to handle sensitive and personal data securely according to new swiss data protection laws (nFADP) and what technical measure could be applied when working collaboratively in cloud environments for secure processing of data.+**Abstract:** The talk will give an overview of experience gained in over 20 years with the management of sensitive and personal data in the field of spoken language corpora. The first part will recapitulate the basic legal and organisational conditions that apply to the work with spoken language corpora. Based on a number of case studies from the Archive of Spoken German, the second part will then discuss details of legal agreements and technical implementation of data protection issues for specific corpora. This includes a demonstration of technological means for de-identifying sensitive data in audio, video and transcripts.
