 +The event takes place on the **30th of May** at the **Valletta Campus, University of Malta**. The event will run from 9.30am to 3.45pm. This is a hybrid event and registration is free-of-charge!  +The first part of the programme will introduce the audience to the UPSKILLS project, and more specifically its initial needs analysis, its guidelines and best practices for research-based teaching and the learning materials that the consortium partners propose, whereas the second part will zoom in on the use of games within its remit.

 +The UPSKILLS project is an Erasmus+ strategic partnership for higher education that seeks to identify and tackle the gaps and mismatches in skills for linguistics and language students through the development of a new curriculum component and supporting materials to be embedded in existing programmes of study. All the materials produced by the project will be made available with OA on the project website around June 2023 by means of a Moodle platform. Keep an eye on it!
