On 26 November 2026, the LaDaD project (Language Data Across Disciplines) hosts its closing community workshop in Bern, 10:00–17:30. It brings together project partners, data stewards, and researchers to review what LaDaD built and discuss the future of language data management in Switzerland. The day also launches the SRDSN Language Research Data Management (L-RDM) Node.

Suzanna Farace Marazza (CCdigitallaw, USI) walks through what researchers should look for in publishing contracts and how to retain their rights. Online session organized by UZH Open Science Services, followed by an open Q&A. Note the extended end time (13:30).

SwissNLP’s Expert Meeting looks at how multimodality feeds the X-to-text pipeline, with talks on sign-language-to-text, interpreting digital ink, and audio description generation. Speakers come from Google DeepMind and UZH’s Department of Computational Linguistics. In-person at ZHAW or online, with an Apéro afterwards.
Fabio Molo introduces forensic meta-science and what it means for research integrity across disciplines. Online session organized by UZH Open Science Services, followed by an open Q&A.
Hybrid one-day symposium on large language models in Social Sciences and Humanities research, in collaboration with CLARIN and PORTULAN CLARIN. Abstracts (300–500 words, English) open until 15 November 2026; attendance registration until 25 November.
