UpLORD

Upgrading the linguistic ORD-ecosystem

Duration: 2023 - 2025
UpLORD is a project aimed at improving linguistic research data infrastructure according to FAIR principles. It develops tools, workflows and training to support open and reusable linguistic data.

Making Open Research Data Suitable for Comparative Discourse Analysis

MORCDA aims to facilitate the use of ORD in comparative, multilingual discourse analysis. It focuses on standardisation, developing digital tools and providing training to support FAIR-compliant research across European languages.

Multimodal Audio-Visual Analysis Cluster for Infrastructure Interoperability and Data Exchange

Duration: 2025 - 2026
The MAVA Cluster aims to improve the interoperability and data exchange among three research tools – VideoScope, TIB-AV-A, and VIAN – by standardizing data formats and developing shared APIs.

EOSC Data Commons

Services for inter- and cross-disciplinary data discovery, access, sharing and reuse

Duration: 2025 - 2028

These are collaborative projects carried out in various frameworks:

CLARIN-CH has a working group for ORD projects on linguistic data, offering the opportunity to exchange knowledge, use synergies and carry out collaborative efforts such as the organisation of training sessions or producing joint documentation.

The working group also gives members the opportunity to connect and find potential collaborations for future projects. Find out more
