FORS Data Live: monthly Q&A sessions on data management and sharing

The FORS Data Management and Archive Services (DMAS) experts hold a monthly Q&A session in which participants receive help on data management challenges, the navigation of ethical considerations or if you are simply looking for best practices in data sharing.
The sessions are in English and held online on Zoom. They are returning each second Thursday of the month from 13:00 to 14:00 CEST.
 
The experts provide guidance on data management and sharing in social sciences. This can include fields such as: sociology, political science, education, psychology, economics, social work and human geography. Specifically, questions of the following type can be answered
  • How do I completete my Data Management Plan (DMP)?
  • What should I include in a consent form?
  • Do I need to anonymise my data?
  • Can I share data that contains personal information?
  • How should I document my data?
  • Why should I deposit my data with SWISSUbase and how do I do that?
  • Can I control the access to my data?
