The CLARIN Newsflash is a monthly newsletter from CLARIN ERIC giving an overview of past events as well as what to expect in the future. Usually, the newsletter is published on the last Wednesday of the month.
The newsletter follows the same structure each time. First, two to three news from CLARIN ERIC will be displayed, including well-known formats such as Tour de CLARIN, Training activities, CLARIN Resource Families. Next, the newsletter gives space to updates from the national consortia in order to highlight their recent developments. Then, bullet lists inform readers on calls for papers, or abstracts, other relevant events for the CLARIN community, as well as grants displaying current funding opportunities and their respective deadlines. Lastly, the newsletter closes with a list of career opportunities such as job openings and their connected dates.
To subscribe to the newsletter, simply visit the subscription page. It is important to CLARIN that their users know what happens with their data, so data protection is communicated transparently. CLARIN ERIC uses MailChimp for their newsletter service, meaning that the information provided by you is transmitted to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their privacy policy and Terms.
Each newsflash has a link at the bottom if you wish to unsubscribe.
It is possible to read past issues of the CLARIN Newsflash. Visit the Email Campaign Archive where you can find old issues that have been published more than a year ago.
