EACL 2027, one of Europe’s main conferences in computational linguistics and NLP, is open for submissions until 3 August 2026. Researchers across the CLARIN-CH community working with language data are encouraged to consider submitting.
The 20th Conference of the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (EACL 2027) will take place in Athens from 9 to 14 March 2027. EACL is a leading venue for the European computational linguistics and NLPcommunities, covering the full breadth of automated natural language processing, from language resources and evaluation to machine learning, multilingual systems, and discourse.
Both long and short papers are welcome. A workshop call will follow at a later date.

Submissions go through ARR. Authors are advised to review the ARR author guidelines before preparing manuscripts.
How to submit
Submissions go through the ACL Rolling Review (ARR), the centralised peer-review system used across ACLconferences. Authors submit their manuscript once to ARR, receive a single round of reviews, and then commit the reviewed paper to a participating venue such as EACL 2027. Manuscripts should follow the ARR author guidelines.
