MORCDA

Making Open Research Data Suitable for Comparative Discourse Analysis

Duration: 2025 - 2027
MORCDA aims to facilitate the use of ORD in comparative, multilingual discourse analysis. It focuses on standardisation, developing digital tools and providing training to support FAIR-compliant research across European languages.

The MAVA Cluster aims to improve the interoperability and data exchange among three research tools – VideoScope, TIB-AV-A, and VIAN – by standardizing data formats and developing shared APIs.

Development of an easy-to-use, web-based infrastructure for the automated analysis of text, speech, and video data.

Duration: 2025 - 2027
Researchers across disciplines – from linguistics and psychology to media studies and AI – will be able to use DAVA to generate standardized, reusable datasets for multimodal research.

Open Research Data practices in Switzerland for all researchers working with language data.

Duration: 01.2026 - 12.2026
The mission of the project is to empower researchers with the competencies, tools, and collaborative networks needed to conduct transparent, reproducible, and innovative research using language-based evidence.

MUTASK

Multimodal Translation and Adaptation of Scientific Knowledge for Global Accessibility.

Duration: 2026 - 2028
This project unites research teams from Poland, France and Switzerland. The MUTASK project plans to develop mechanisms and workflows for generating text-, audio-, and video-based summaries of complex academic material in a flexible manner, that is, capable to adapt the content to the videos to users’ needs and interests.

Building Switzerland’s Gateway to the European Open Science Cloud

The Swiss EOSC Node Prototype (SENPro) is a national initiative to design and test a federated framework that connects Swiss research infrastructures with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Launched in September 2025, SENPro brings together a multidisciplinary consortium of leading institutions.
