Public panel discussion: What does and what should AI know?

On November 12, 2025, the Digital Society Initiative and the Linguistic Research Infrastructure are holding a public panel discussion on the topic: “What does and what should AI know?”. The event focuses on the frontiers and ethics of human-centred AI and will explore the implications of the growing capacity of AI systems to perceive, interpret and simulate human emotions.
The event will take place onsite in the center of Zurich and the organizers encourage especially people working in the fields: AI, ethics, human-computer interaction, policy, education, health, social sciences, or technology to attend the panel. Nonetheless, all people interested in how technology is shaping the future are welcome.
