Publishing Data on the Language Repository of Switzerland (LaRS)
The Language Repository of Switzerland (LaRS) is a national platform for publishing linguistic research data, hosted on SWISSUbase. In this workshop, participants will gain an overview of SWISSUbase and the LaRS ecosystem, along with essential guidance on preparing data for publication in line with the FAIR principles and the LaRS data policy. Metadata harvesting by the CLARIN Virtual Language Observatory, which facilitates the discovery of linguistic resources across Europe, will also be covered. The session will conclude with a practical component that walks participants through the submission interface and workflows, enabling them to gain a clear understanding of how to publish their own data on LaRS.
Speakers: Stefanie Strebel and Christian Futter (UZH Library)
