The Swiss EOSC Node Prototype (SENPro) project team invites researchers from across Switzerland and from all disciplines to a virtual workshop on 2 December 2025. The event is a unique opportunity to learn more about SENPro’s vision to shape Switzerland’s engagement with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and the EOSC federation, thereafter.
The federated model from EOSC constitutes a key step toward improving the interconnectedness and sustainability in the European Open Science ecosystem. By reducing fragmentation and promoting interoperability, SENPro strengthens Switzerland’s role in Open Science.
The online workshop will focus not only on EOSC’s vision, but also on contributions of participants sharing their insights as future users of the evolving infrastructure network.
During the event, participants can expect:
- To gain a clear understanding of EOSC’s goals and how SENPro works towards meeting them.
- To share their own expectations on needs, and ideas for what should be part of a Swiss EOSC node.
- To help ensure the project reflects diversity of Switzerland’s research landscape.
