SwissNLP has recently joined CLARIN-CH as one of its first two associate members. The association plays an important role in bringing together NLP and text analytics experts from industry and academia with its flagship event, the annually held SwissText conference.
For the 10th anniversary of the conference, SwissNLP is now taking things to the next level with an additional event: the SwissNLP Expo. Together, the two events will form the Swiss NLP Days, taking place in Winterthur on 13-15 May 2025.
- The NLP Expo (May 13) is an exhibition of NLP solutions with up to 100 exhibitors and 500 visitors – it is set to be a vibrant hub for networking and knowledge sharing, targeting solution providers, academia and aspiring users of NLP.
- The Swiss Text Analytics Conference (May 14 and 15) is a yearly highlight for professionals and researchers working in the fields of text analytics, natural language processing (NLP) and computational linguistics.

SwissText was initiated in 2016 by NLP researchers at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), a CLARIN-CH member institution and project partner actively involved in hosting and collaborating on ongoing ORD projects for linguistic data.
CLARIN-CH will be represented at both events, with a Bring-your-own-data workshop on the LiRI Corpus Platform and with an exhibition stand at the SwissNLP Expo. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
