SwissText 2026: Call for Papers

The 11th Swiss Text Analytics Conference (SwissText 2026) invites submissions of substantial, original, and unpublished research work on Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing. SwissText 2026 will take place on June 10th, 2026 in Zurich, Switzerland.

SwissText is an annual conference established in 2016 by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) that brings together Language AI experts from industry and academia. The SwissText 2026 conference will be organized as a one-day event and will feature the following tracks:

  • Applied Track (non-archival), with a strong focus on industry and applied research.
  • Scientific Track (archival), with technical research papers from the international scientific community, including corpus- and benchmark-related research papers with a focus on Swiss languages from the scientific community and industry.
  • Corpus Track (archival), with Swiss-related NLP datasets.    
  • Demonstration Track (non-archival), with NLP systems presented live at the SwissText conference. 

Note: Abstracts submitted to the Applied Track or Demonstration Track will not be published in the proceedings. If you want your work to be published, please submit a paper to the Scientific Track or Corpus Track.

This year’s special theme is: Reproducible NLP. Therefore, submissions working specifically in reproducible NLP research and fully open NLP are encouraged.

Organization and Venue

The conference will take place on the Oerlikon campus of the University of Zurich.

SwissText 2026 is organised jointly by the University of Zurich (UZH) and SwissNLP.
