Take Part in the LaDaD Survey
CLARIN-CH is inviting researchers who work with language data to participate in a national survey as part of the LaDaD project. The survey explores discipline-specific needs and practices around FAIR and Open Research Data, and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Deadline: 6 May 2026.

European Summer University in Digital Humanities 2026
The European Summer University in Digital Humanities “Culture and Technology” takes place 6–18 July 2026 in Besançon, France. Applications are open until 24 May 2026.

Helsinki Digital Humanities Hackathon 2026
CLARIN is supporting the Helsinki Digital Humanities Hackathon (#DHH26) on 20–29 May 2026, with travel and accommodation funding available for a limited number of students from CLARIN national consortia. Swiss students are encouraged to apply before the 14 April 2026 deadline.

Cambridge Data School: Teaching and Learning Critically in an Age of Generative AI
Cambridge Digital Humanities is offering a new five-day Data School in July 2026 exploring critical and creative approaches to teaching in an age of generative AI. Open to teachers, researchers, students, and policy makers — no specialist AI knowledge required. Applications close 26 April 2026.

CLARIN Annual Conference 2026: Call for Extended Abstracts
CLARIN ERIC has issued a call for extended abstracts for the CLARIN Annual Conference 2026, taking place in Brighton, UK, on 29 September – 1 October 2026. The conference brings together the Humanities and Social Sciences community to share work and experiences related to the CLARIN infrastructure. The submission deadline is 6 April 2026.

Online Workshop: Data Management Plans (DMPs) for Language Data
The CLARIN-CH RDM Working Group, in collaboration with the L-RDM Node (SRDSN) and the LaDaD project, is organising a free two-part online workshop on Data Management Plans (DMPs) for language data. The workshop covers both the strategic importance of DMPs and practical guidance for writing them, with a focus on SNSF-funded projects. Sessions take place on 4 May and 29 June 2026, 1:00–2:30 PM (CET).
