CHORD-talk-in-interaction project members from the University of Lausanne and University of Neuchâtel are hosting a hybrid workshop on Database evolution for the study of social interaction: Designing annotations for long-term usability.

The workshop adresses issues related to the ‘longevity’ of annotations of large databases such as TALKBANK or CLAPI. The focus of the first day is on challenges and best practices related to designing annotation schemes for the development of large databases. On the second day, analytical possibilities and limitations of such interactional databases will be explored.

The event is organised by Simona Pekarek Doehler (University of Neuchâtel) and Jérôme Jacquin (University of Lausanne) on behalf of CHORD-talk-in-interaction.
